Children’s Emergency Fund Ukraine Relief
With the ongoing turbulent situation in Ukraine, the devastation has continued to sweep across the country impacting countless children and families. As this crisis continues, the humanitarian needs keep growing.
For the first time since WWII, the war in Ukraine has caused the fastest-growing displacement of children and families in Europe. From broken families to destroyed infrastructures, civilian life will never be the same. Because of this interruption, families are now struggling to find basic life-saving necessities such as health, education, shelter, food, water, and sanitation supplies.
At Plymouth Pediatric Associates, our mission is to provide extraordinary care close to home. In this case, "home" extends beyond our backyard to the overall community of those children and families affected. We felt this need deep within our daily practice of caring for others and looked to find a way to help in the humanitarian efforts. With that, Plymouth Pediatric Associates is honored to say that we have donated to Save the Children, Children’s Emergency Fund, in the amount of $5,000.
This donation will go directly to the organization's efforts to help the children and families directly impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. Although there is still a long road ahead, we will continue to practice providing unconditional support and care to those most in need, at home and abroad.
