Lactation Consultant
Colleen is an experienced Lactation Consultant with over 20 years of supporting families in achieving their feeding goals. She began her career as a postpartum nurse and went on to earn her IBCLC certification after recognizing the critical need for accessible breastfeeding support.
Throughout her career, Colleen has worked across a variety of settings, including hospital-based care, private practice, and within a pediatrician’s office. She is passionate about education and has led prenatal breastfeeding classes as well as facilitated support groups for new parents.
Colleen currently practices at The Birthplace at BID Plymouth, where she continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to families in the community.
Outside of her professional work, Colleen lives in Pembroke with her husband. She is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to one grandson. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Colleen is available for visits on Mondays and Thursdays in the Plymouth office.
