To My Plymouth Pediatric Families,
I wanted to share some news with you about a change happening in our practice. As you know, we offer same-day urgent care appointments to make sure your family’s needs are met quickly and compassionately. Our urgent care team has been wonderfully led by Dr. Marietta Calisto-Cooney, who will be retiring in December 2025.
To continue providing the best possible care and access for our families, I’ll be stepping into the role of Urgent Care Physician Lead starting January 1st, 2026. This means I’ll be focusing my time on seeing urgent care patients only.
As part of this transition, I’ll be passing the care of my amazing patients to our other fantastic pediatricians Dr. Andrew Oliver and Dr. Emily Smith. They’re warm, skilled, and ready to welcome you and your children. Some of you may have already met them, and I know you’ll be in great hands.
- If your last name begins with A to J, you will be cared for by Dr. Andrew Oliver
- If your last name begins with K to Z, you will be cared for by Dr. Emily Smith
If you have already seen Dr. Oliver or Dr. Smith and you prefer to stay with either, you may have that opportunity. Both providers have office days and availability in our Sandwich location. In addition, Dr. Laurie Massey and Dr. Kelly Hawthorne are taking new patients.
Over the next few months, you’ll have the chance to transition to your child’s new doctor. If you have any questions or need help during this transition, we’re here for you.
Thinking back on the many faces I’ve seen grow from tiny babies to incredible young adults fills me with so much joy. I’ll still be around to see those smiles—just in a different way!
